Annual West Coast Multiplex Scramble fundraiser golf tournament

On Saturday September 16th, 2017 we will be hosting the 4th Annual West Coast Multiplex Scramble fundraiser golf tournament at the Long Beach Golf Course. In 2014 this event took over for the popular Stick in the Mud golf tournament, which ran strong for 13 years.  This tournament is the most important event for the annual fundraising efforts of the West Coast Multiplex Society, and we are proud to carry on the tradition.

It is a very exciting time for the Multiplex as we have just recently completed the business plan for Phase One of the project. We have also selected the architectural firm for the project and they have already begun the design of Phase One.  With the business plan completed and the design underway, we will soon have the key pieces in place to build our capital fundraising package.  We expect fundraising for construction of the project to begin in earnest over the next year.  With capital fundraising about to commence and the project getting so much closer to reality, there has never been a more important time to get involved.

We are writing this letter to request corporate sponsorship for the tournament in one of two ways. This year we are offering tournament sponsorships for $400 as well as hole sponsorships for $200.  The support of our corporate sponsors is absolutely critical to the strong success of this tournament and we hope to have you involved.  As a tournament sponsor your name and logo will appear on the posters advertising the tournament, as well as the tournament gift that each player receives.  Hole sponsors will have their names listed on the tournament gift as well as have the chance to promote themselves on one of the holes during the tournament.  As in the past, the tournament will be a fun 9 hole Texas Scramble with a combined team mini golf challenge.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Alternatively, our tournament is also in need of any form of donation whether it be physical goods or gift certificates to use as prizes and auction items.  Volunteer hours are also always needed.

We are certainly very fortunate for the incredible support that local businesses provide towards local fundraising efforts and we would be delighted to have you involved in working towards this important goal.

Thank you so much for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Ryan Orr
